The majority of tours to Palestine nowadays are religious; tourists come as “pilgrims” to visit the churches and other religious and historic sites in the Holy Land, just as the first pilgrims came crossing continents centuries before them. Most of the modern day pilgrimages to the Holy Land do not include encounters with the ‘living stones,” but focus only on visiting the “locations” as part of a standard itinerary.
To fill the void left by others, Holy Land Trust offers Christian pilgrims, the followers of the teachings of Jesus, a unique experience; one that truly transforms into a reality the incredible teachings of Jesus, contributes to the Christian community and allows for deep and personal contact with the people of the land; families who have been living here for hundreds and thousands of years.
Our Pilgrimage is not a vacation but a spiritually uplifting and moving experience you will remember for the rest of your life. Not only that, you will leave the Holy Land with a better understanding of the scriptures, and in a better place to continue your work and commitment in following the teachings of Jesus Christ.
“Setting foot in the Holy Land was overwhelming for me. Holy Land Trust excelled in helping see what lies beneath the surface of life there... I learnt about what it means to be a Palestinian living in the West Bank, and how Christianity, Islam Judaism make their presences felt in every aspect of daily life. It’s the kind of experience that makes you want to learn more. I sincerely hope to return to Palestine someday soon, to continue my journey.”
